1947 Brexit India is a 2 hour documentary film that explores the Causes leading to the end of British rule in India in 1947 when their quick departure resulted in one of the biggest man made disasters in death of a million people or more from mass migration and ethnic cleaning and genocide that followed.
The Documentary is directed by Sanjivan Lal and produced by Swarnjit Singh. It is narrated by famed Bollywood actor Boman Irani. Key speakers are world renowned authors and historians including Mr. Shashi Tharoor MP, Mr. William Dalrymple, Commodore Uday Bhaskar, Prof. M.Rajivlochan,Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed, Dr.Allister Hinds,Prof. Tom Tomlinson, Dr.David Omissi and Dr.Gurharpal Singh.
